We have been particularly happy to see a series of pieces in major international publications reflecting the Catalan point of view on the present economic and political situation in Spain. Recent articles in The Huffington Post, The Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal and The Guardian, as well as statements made to the foreign press by both President Artur Mas and Economy Councillor Andreu Mas-Colell go in that direction. This is by no means a universal trend, as some others just stick to the usual repetition of the official Spanish line, a fact that Col·lectiu Emma has been denouncing for over three years now. We hope, however, that those divergent opinions from Catalonia will continue to be aired and thus help to put in the right perspective the growing conflict with Spain.
